HILLBROOK SCHOOL
New addition for a maker hub within an existing K-8 campus. The building features three workshops equipped with analog and digital tools and materials for design, making, scientific inquiry, engineering, woodworking, visual and performing arts. Exposed ceiling trusses and raw plywood create an aesthetic that welcomes the messiness of brainstorming, prototyping, and collaboration. Interior garage doors make the space easily adaptable to different activities and class sizes. Sliding barn doors open to the adjoining courtyard to extend activities outside.
